Wie entstehen eigentlich die Bilder, das werden wir oft gefragt. Was uns sehr wichtig ist: Wir mögen es echt! Bei uns wird möglichst wenig retuschiert. Wenn wir also ein bestimmtes Bild im Kopf haben, dann wird das auch in Lebensgröße aufgebaut und nicht später am Rechner zusammen gebastelt…
Hier zeigen wir euch mal, was wir so machen. In diesem Fall sind am selben Ort gleich zwei Bilder entstanden.
Zunächst haben wir eine Ecke einer Fabrikhalle komplett weiß gestrichen und die Wand mit Neonklecksen versehen. Dort entstand dann das Aprilbild: Oberpeppige Popperpopoverpackung mit einem BMW 318is E30, Bj. 1990.
Für unser Januarbild hatten wir den Badewannen-Sketch von Loriot im Kopf. Wir konnten einen Ford 17m P3, Bj. 1964 – Spitzname: Badewanne – in der perfekten Farbe auftun. Da sich kein geeigneter Raum dafür finden ließ, beschlossen wir das Badezimmer selber zu bauen. Dafür zogen wir Wände ein, malten die Wandkacheln auf und verlegten später um den Wagen herum die Bodenfliesen aus Papier.
Voilà: Die Müllerlüdenscheidtsche Nacktsimulationsunterhose!
Viel Arbeit, aber auch ein großer Spaß und wir hatten mal wieder viel tolle Helfer!!!

Can I just say how refreshing it is to see a calendar like this. About two months ago, my (German) boyfriend ditched me and my company for a weekend doing this with his friends – except it was a regular car calendar with (very unnatrictivelely and whorishly styled) near-naked women draping themselves over the car hood. He doesn’t understand what I’m on about; I asked him, hmmm, did you get paid for the use of your cars? Was it for a charity? If the answer to both is “no” or “not really” (which it was), its a really dumb reason to ditch a live girlfriend for a little bit of beer and tits and ass. Do I really need to mention they were all single, the men who made time for this ….anyhow, I digress. This is brilliant, and I”m using some of the behinds the scenes and shots for a class on the on the objectification meof women in the media. First stop: car calendar ‘pinups’. Fantastic. Although I must admit, your underwear and model choices are WAAAAAAAAAAY more historically accurate than most girl-car calendars. That really shouldn’t shock me. We all know it’s not about the ‘styling’. It’s about deciding whom you will ride first when you’re rich enough to get both in your life: the girl or the car.
